Daniel Huscroft (Hus) is a natural talent whose first rays of brilliance shone at an early age. His musical journey began with classical violin and piano, competing at the Canadian Nationals at the tender age of ten. By age nine, Hus was touring the BC Kootenays with his father and three siblings on fiddles, piano, and voice, playing and singing old time standards with the Huscroft Family Band. But it wasn’t until the age of thirteen that Hus first met his true love when he picked up an electric guitar and began ripping Vivaldi violin concertos through a distortion pedal. Hus joined a teen rock band, and begun singing and songwriting. In 2000, while playing lead guitar and vocalist in a touring Christian rock band based out of Chicago, Hus met up-and-coming Christian artist Sarah Kelly; Kelly loved his guitar playing and songwriting, and asked Hus to write for her new album. Hus’ ongoing collaboration with Kelly has garnered multiple awards and Grammy nominations.
