Ann Vriend

Where Dolly, Aretha, and Ryan Adams meet, Ann Vriend delivers her unique brand of soul/Americana to thrilled audiences around the world, headlining at festivals as far away from her hometown of Edmonton as Berlin and Australia. "With her soaring vocals, impressive songwriting ability, and instrumental prowess, Vriend is truly an all in one package", writes Obscure Magazine (NYC). Dubbed the "Aretha Franklin of Americana" Vriend connects alt-country and folk to soul and blues in a "style all her own" (South Australian Independent). Her natural, often humorous rapport with her audiences, combined with her exquisite song writing has enabled Vriend to sell over 13,000 albums off the stage independently.

Sister Speak

After 8 months of touring North America together, singer/songwriters Samantha Cathcart & Sherri-Anne have teamed up to form "Sister Speak." Whether performing as a duo, or backed by their astounding rhythm section, Sister Speak takes the talents of each musician to another level, combining mesmerizing vocals with elements of "Acoustic-Rock, Blues & World." The two artists met in the Chicago music scene shortly after completing their own debut albums. They have since toured the continent, playing at some of Vancouver's and Chicago's top music clubs and all over California. Canada's global TV interviewed the duo last summer and they were featured at the NAMM 2010 in January. Extensive touring throughout North America and a new album in is in the works for Sister Speak!

Colin Easthope

Born and raised in Williams Lake, Colin Easthope has mastered a sound of his own. Blending the past with the present, Easthope's sound is infused with a unique perspective on the classic blues and folk scenes. Refining his sound for the past three years in Kelowna B.C., Easthope has a growing musical repertoire. Easthope is constantly active in the local music scene between playing solo shows in the Okanagan area and with his side project Walking Contradictions. He recorded his debut LP in Vancouver B.C. this past March. With the support from his brother on drums and high school friends appearing on the album you cannot ignore the classic sounds and collaboration that meshes traditional folk lyrics and blues riffs with an honest off the cuff contemporary edge.
