Flatlined
FLATLINED BIO
“Flatlined is a popular Alternative Rock band from St. Catherine’s ON, just returned home last March after 7 months on the road, their longest most extensive tour to date.
The clips on Youtube give you a look at their powerful live performance, filmed on tour this past year as well as their music videos for “Deaf Leading the Blind” and newly released “Tiger vs Shark”. FLATLINED has toured extensively, performing under all circumstances from packed stadiums opening for bigger name acts to small bar rooms and they LAY IT DOWN HARD every time, without exception. They are noted for their high energy live show, infused with their sense of fun, humor, and charm as well as gravity defying leaps in the air. 20 people in the room get the same performance 15,000 screaming music festival fans do.

The single “Deaf Leading the Blind” from the album of the same name, has enjoyed airplay on stations across Canada since its release in 2007. Based out of the Niagara region, leaving their mark everywhere they play, FLATLINED has delivered nuclear shows on every stage they have played on. Blending aggressive, melodic riffs with powerful but evocative vocals, FLATLINED’s sound appeals to a wide audience without losing its distinctive edge. With explosive live performances, this band has toured across Canada 5 times, making their first venture into the U.S. on their last tour, playing Chicago, Indiana, St. Paul, Minneapolis and various other locations. Independently selling more than 6,500 albums along the way, this four-piece alternative rock band is proving they have more than just potential to offer.
Their set list consists of an impressive set of originals, spanning songs from 2 albums. They have played extensively in the Toronto area and venues across Canada such as The Opera House and The Reverb, as well as, The Zoo Winnipeg, The Roxy Saskatoon, The Gateway SAIT Campus Calgary, The Urban Lounge Edmonton, The Roxy Vancouver and many other venues where they continue to draw fans of all ages and make new ones. They completed a very successful spring 2008 tour across Canada, returning home to play “North Rocks the Bay” with Hedley, as well as Chatham Airport Main stage with Finger Eleven, Sloan, Thornley and the Trews, setting out again in Sept 2008 across Canada and the U.S. on a tour that spanned 7 months. They returned home in March to play a full spring and summer of shows in their home province of Ontario, including an opening slot for Silverstein, to eager fans that had anxiously been waiting their return. The summer also saw them play Canadian music festivals such as XFest 3, where they opened for Our Lady Peace, in Brandon Manitoba in August that led to a 7 days 7 shows tour, which included radio interviews with live acoustic performances in the U.S.
Going into their 6th year as a band, fall of 2009 sees FLATLINED finally taking a break from live performances, to write and record their new upcoming album slated for release in 2010 to be followed up with more touring in support of the new recording. It has been a busy whirlwind of nonstop activity for the band since their inception 6 yrs ago, and even in their downtime, they are busy making ready for the next stage of things to come for them. Watch for great things coming for FLATLINED in the next year.
